Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of Hollywood’s favorite couples. They’ve been married since 2012, and their playful pranks and public displays of affection make them a beloved duo.
However, with fame comes rumors, and Lively had to address one about her and Reynolds recently.
On Monday, Lively posted on Instagram to support Reynolds ahead of his new film, “Deadpool & Wolverine.” She praised her husband in the post, but one comment from a fan caught her attention.
The fan wrote, “You and Ryan need to post more of each other. There were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple.”
Lively quickly shut down the rumor with a light-hearted response: “Haha they wish,” adding a crying laughing emoji.
The couple is known for their humor and often joke about each other online, so Lively’s playful retort was no surprise.
To further prove that their marriage is strong, Lively and Reynolds attended the New York premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” together. They looked happy and in love, posing for photos and enjoying the event.
They were joined by their famous friends Gigi Hadid and Hugh Jackman, who also attended the premiere. Inside the event, Reynolds spoke on stage, expressing his gratitude to Lively and their four daughters.
He said, “I just want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who’s here. Her outfit is amazing – spoiler alert! I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here.
I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that in the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life.”

“Deadpool & Wolverine” will hit theaters on Friday, July 26. Fans are excited to see Reynolds back in his iconic role, and Lively’s support only adds to the anticipation.
