The sketch, which was supposed to be a live performance, was about two people in an elevator trying to convince everyone to make out.
However, it was suddenly changed to a pre-taped segment without much notice.
Yang admitted that the final result didn’t land as well as he had hoped, but he accepted it as part of the unpredictable nature of comedy.

Bowen Yang has been a significant part of SNL since he joined as a writer in 2018. A year later, he became a full-time cast member. Over the years, Yang has been involved in some of the show’s most memorable skits.
